Final Design for Icons And Wallpaper

Greetings humans. Final icon design uploaded. Like, finally, right? XD It's been a week or two after the presentation. hahaha. I'm not a very enthusiastic blogger la. Anyway, I'd like to say a million thanks to all of those who have assisted me in my user-testing. (verbal ones, blog comment ones, MSN ones, etc.) Alrights, so below are my finals icon designs and wallpaper designs.

At The Circus Market

Welcome one and all to the circus market! *Insert circus music* Haha.

First of all I'd like to say thank you for visiting my blog.

As I've mentioned in my previous post, we've been given the task to create 5 mobile icons and wallpapers based on the theme 'fantasy'. Now before we are able to finalize our designs, we are required to user-test/test drive/pre-test our icons. (and maybe wallpaper too)

Having said that, I present to you, my icons!!! *bows*








(This is so dang fugly. I'm still in the process of redesigning it. Total makeover/plastic surgery.)


(There're two icons here but they resemble the same function and same vegetable/fruit. Which do you prefer? Left or right? Oh and I'm still experimenting with the shading/lighting and gradient.)

Mobile icons and wallpaper.

The idea was to create mobile icons and a wallpaper based on the given theme: fantasy. So things like faeries, dragons and ghosts immediately came to mind. Haha...

However after doing the mind map, I wanted to base my icons on 2 ideas : hungry icon eating animals (particularly a certain bunny) or a zombified teddy bear.

Those sketches were done weeks ago, although I feel as though its been months. Sigh...
Anyway, the real thing is FAR, far far far (it's so far you wouldn't believe its that far) from how I initially wanted my icons to look like. Preview:

The final icons are still under progress though. Many changes still needs to be done. Sigh. It's been tiring but fun none the less. ope it all works out in the end. I'm running out of time and my eyes are starting to juling. >.<
